Passion Guide

The goal of this typography class project was to create a booklet-style guide that presented disparate information in an engaging way based on a topic we are passionate about as users or consumers. I chose to focus on plant nurseries in San Diego. My process began with researching 20 local nurseries and selecting five positive review quotes to highlight. From there, I explored a range of typographic layouts digitally, refining the hierarchy and composition through multiple iterations. I then experimented with integrating hand drawn illustrations, graphic elements, and text to create a cohesive visual system. The project concluded with printing and assembling the final designs into a full booklet.
